We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and scale AfroSynergy's core trade platform. You'll work across the entire stack — from the Next.js frontend and Supabase backend to payment integrations (Stripe, Flutterwave, Paystack) and real-time deal room infrastructure. You'll own major features end-to-end: escrow payment flows, opportunity matching, project workspaces, and the admin dashboard used by our operations team. This is a high-impact role where your code directly enables cross-border deals worth millions. What you'll do: - Build and ship product features across our Next.js 15 / TypeScript / Supabase stack - Design and implement APIs for deal management, payments, and compliance - Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience - Collaborate with product and design to define and refine feature specs - Review code and mentor junior engineers - Contribute to architecture decisions as the platform scales
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js (App Router) - Experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase (or similar BaaS) - Familiarity with payment integrations (Stripe, mobile money, or similar) - Experience building real-time or collaborative features - Solid understanding of REST APIs, auth flows, and security best practices - Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first environment - Bonus: experience with African payment providers (Flutterwave, Paystack) - Bonus: knowledge of trade finance, escrow, or compliance systems
