We're looking for a Product Designer to shape the experience of cross-border trade on AfroSynergy. You'll design intuitive interfaces for complex workflows — deal rooms, escrow payments, compliance screening, and partner matching — making them feel simple and trustworthy. What you'll do: - Own the end-to-end design process: research, wireframes, prototypes, final UI - Design features for both the public marketing site and the authenticated platform - Create and maintain our design system (Tailwind CSS + Radix UI primitives) - Conduct user research with African business owners, investors, and trade professionals - Collaborate closely with engineering to ship pixel-perfect implementations - Design for accessibility, RTL languages (Arabic), and mobile-first experiences - Create data visualizations for dashboards, analytics, and compliance reports
- 4+ years of product design experience (B2B or fintech preferred) - Strong portfolio showing complex workflow design simplified for users - Proficiency in Figma (or similar) with component/variant systems - Experience designing for data-dense interfaces (dashboards, tables, forms) - Understanding of Tailwind CSS and component-based design systems - Experience with user research and usability testing - Bonus: experience designing for African or emerging market users - Bonus: familiarity with RTL layout design - Bonus: motion design skills (Framer Motion or similar)
