Ugandan Arabica Coffee – Export Cooperative Direct Trade

A Ugandan coffee export cooperative representing 8,000 smallholder farmers in the Mount Elgon region seeks direct trade buyers for specialty Arabica coffee. Annual export capacity of $1 million (200 tonnes) of washed and natural processed coffee targets specialty roasters and quality-focused importers. Coffee profiles include washed Arabica with bright citrus acidity and clean finish, natural processed lots with fruit-forward characteristics, and honey process micro-lots for specialty market positioning. Cup scores range from 82-88 SCA points across production. We seek specialty coffee roasters, direct trade importers, and sustainable sourcing programs. The cooperative offers full traceability to village level, Fairtrade and Organic certifications, and transparent pricing with farmer premium documentation. Mount Elgon's high altitude (1,600-2,200m) and volcanic soils produce coffees increasingly recognized in specialty markets. The cooperative's cupping lab and quality focus have driven consistent improvement in export quality. Export logistics through Mombasa with 3-week sailing to European ports. Payment terms include 30% advance to cooperative with balance on CAD.
