The Lagos-Abuja Freight Corridor represents Nigeria's economic backbone, connecting the nation's commercial capital with its political centre. This $120 million infrastructure programme aims to establish world-class logistics facilities along this critical 900km corridor. The programme encompasses three strategically positioned logistics parks in Ibadan, Lokoja, and Abuja, each featuring modern warehousing (temperature-controlled and ambient), truck staging areas, container yards, maintenance facilities, and administrative offices. Combined capacity exceeds 500,000 square metres of covered storage with potential throughput of 10 million tonnes annually. We are seeking construction contractors, logistics operators, and investment partners. The sites have secured land titles with 99-year leases, environmental impact assessments are complete, and preliminary engineering designs are approved. Nigeria's $4 billion formal logistics market is growing at 15% annually, yet suffers from a critical shortage of modern facilities. Revenue streams include warehouse leasing ($8/sqm/month), value-added logistics services, truck parking and staging fees, and fuel station operations. Anchor tenant commitments from major FMCG companies, agricultural commodity traders, and e-commerce operators provide base-load demand. Target returns of 18-22% IRR reflect the infrastructure deficit premium in Nigerian logistics. Construction timeline is 24-36 months with phased handover enabling early revenue generation.
