Requirement
The Pan-African Digital Infrastructure Fund deploys $50 million into the foundational assets powering Africa's digital economy: data centers, fiber networks, and tower infrastructure. As digital transformation accelerates across the continent, infrastructure investment struggles to keep pace with demand. The fund targets three asset classes: carrier-neutral data centers in Nairobi, Lagos, and Johannesburg serving hyperscalers and enterprise customers; metro fiber networks in secondary cities lacking connectivity infrastructure; and tower portfolios enabling mobile network expansion. Current pipeline includes a 5MW data center development in Nairobi, a 500km fiber network in Ghana, and a 200-tower portfolio in Tanzania. We are seeking institutional investors, strategic partners with digital infrastructure expertise, and co-investment opportunities. The fund structure offers exposure to hard assets with technology growth characteristics: long-term contracts, inflation-indexed revenues, and essential service demand resilience. Africa's digital economy is projected to reach $712 billion by 2050 from $115 billion today, yet less than 30% of the population has broadband access. The infrastructure deficit represents a multi-decade investment opportunity as digitalization penetrates commerce, finance, healthcare, and education. Target returns of 15-18% IRR with infrastructure-level risk profiles. ESG focus includes renewable energy integration (targeting 50%+ for data centers) and digital inclusion metrics. Fund vehicle is a Mauritius-domiciled investment company with quarterly liquidity windows.
