Requirement
A fish processing expansion in Walvis Bay, Namibia seeks $9 million to increase value addition capacity for the country's abundant hake and horse mackerel resources. The project upgrades existing facilities and adds new processing lines. Expansion includes IQF and blast freezing capacity increase, fillet processing line for hake, value-added products (breaded, marinated), and cold storage expansion. Namibia's exclusive economic zone contains some of Africa's richest fishing grounds. We seek seafood industry investors, strategic buyers, and impact investors. Namibia offers stable operating environment, established fishing quota system, and preferential access to EU and US markets through trade agreements. The project partners with existing quota holders ensuring raw material supply. Export relationships established with European supermarkets and foodservice distributors. HACCP and EU certification current. Target returns of 20-25% IRR with strong cash generation from Year 2. Expansion timeline is 18 months.
