East Africa's four flagship tourism countries — Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda — attracted 4.8 million international visitors collectively in 2024 and generated $6.2 billion in tourism revenue. The EAC Single Tourist Visa, operational since 2025, enables seamless multi-country itineraries under a single immigration document for the first time — yet fewer than 8% of international tourists who visit one EAC country extend to a second, primarily because the cross-border booking, visa, and logistics infrastructure has not kept pace with the regulatory change. A verified cross-border tourism joint venture captures this 92% who currently stop at one country. This joint venture structures a unified four-country safari and tourism experience product: verified operators in each EAC country working under a joint brand, unified itinerary booking system, shared visa facilitation service, and coordinated ground logistics. Product suite: 8-14 day premium itineraries combining Kenya's Masai Mara, Tanzania's Serengeti and Kilimanjaro, Uganda's gorilla trekking, and Rwanda's Nyungwe and Volcanoes National Parks. Target market: premium international travellers ($400-$1,200/person/night). AfroSynergy structures this through the Joint Venture template. Each country operator's tourism licences, conservation area access permits, and TATO/TALA memberships reviewed in the deal room.
